When DJ-turned-entrepreneur Audrey Napoleon sets her mind to something, just know - it’s a done deal. With a decade of experience working in the music industry as a globally known and recognized Top 5 Female DJ, Napoleon wanted to set her sights on something that she could build, nurture, and put her name on.

Thus her Beauty Incubator was born named GOSTRIDER (Gōst,rīder), and eventually the successful launch of Qveen Studio for Qveen Herby. GOSTRIDER, is a “Beauty Business in a Box” that offers talent (anyone from music artists to celebrities to influencers and more) a direct-to-consumer approach to creating their own personalized beauty product collection, is also another way for the talent to connect to their fans and allow the artist to create sustainable revenue. GOSTRIDER offers up full-service support - from product development to fulfillment, trend intelligence to online store management, it’s basically everything one needs to successfully launch their own beauty line of hand-picked products.

We chatted with Napoleon to find out what sets GOSTRIDER apart from their competition, what her “a-ha” moment was to spark the creation of GOSTRIDER, and what’s next for her company.

TVLand’s Younger is the show that we’d all like to live vicariously through (er, those of us in our 40’s and older). Perhaps it’s even become ourSATC replacement with the show boasting creator Darren Star and legendary Costume Consultant Pat Field. The show is based around Liza (played by broadway veteran Sutton Foster), a 40-year-old posing as a twenty-something while attempting to get her foot back in the door of the publishing world after taking time off to raise her teen daughter. We just had to find out how Liza maintains her outward youth, so we asked Hair Department Head Anne Marie Bradley and Makeup Department Head Eldo Ray Estes to divulge. Of course, we also got the scoop on what it’s like working on such a fun show, how they stay “on-trend” with looks, and what’s in their set bags.
