Michelle Monaghan at the CDGA

Actress Michelle Monaghan sported a smoky eye and fresh face for the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards on February 17th in Los Angeles. Rocking a black lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana, Michelle sported sultry eyes and barely-there makeup; a look crafted by Makeup Artist Shane Paish. "We did a slight gold and warm brown, smoky dragged-out eyeshadow look in a fresh way, with the black khôl stick on the inner lid for a more intense look,” says Paish. “The skin was fresh and polished with a slight bronzed glow and the lip was the new Baume in a barely-there pink-nude with light gloss on top to give a flushed lip look."

Read below on how to recreate this look:

Face:  Paish starts by hydrating and prepping skin with Dior Capture Totale Le Serum, then applying Diorskin Nude Air Serum Foundation in #020 and dusting Diorskin Nude Air Tan Healthy Glow Sun Powder in #002 for a nice glow.

Eyes:  He applied Dior Backstage Eye Prime over lids as a base to extend shadow wear. To create the gold and brown tones, Paish used the Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow in Cuir Cannage #796 as well as the Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow in Meteore in #661. He lined the eyes with Diorshow Khol Stick in Smoky Black #099 and coated lashes with Dior Addict It-Lash Mascara in It-Black #092. Brows were filled in with Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Brown #001.

Lips:  Lips were filled in with Rouge Dior Baume in Primerose #488 with a light layer of Dior Addict Lip Polish Smoothing Lacquer dabbed on top.
