In honor of Pride month, the brand Youth To The People has created a very special limited-edition Superfood Cleanser Pride Edition ($36). The rainbow-themed packaging represents solidarity with the LGBTQ community plus 100% of the sales (up to $50k) goes directly to GLSEN, an education organization which works to create safe and bully-free environments for LGBTQ students in grades K-12.
YTTP co-founders Greg Gonzalez and Joe Cloves describe the reason for their involvement. “We started Youth To The People to make skincare for all - all genders, all skin types, all passions. We’re a company of people who dream of a more inclusive world, one where all kids, no matter their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expressions feel safe and are safe at school, so the partnership with GLSEN was an obvious choice.”
The Superfood Cleanser contains cold-pressed antioxidants found in superfoods such as spinach, kale, and green tea - all which work together to boost hydration and gently cleanse the skin. It is 100% vegan, made in California, and free of lots of toxic stuff such as parabens, sulfates, phthalates, pegs, mineral oil, silicones, artificial colors and is not tested on animals.
Superfood Cleanser Pride Edition is currently exclusively sold at Sephora.com.
